Hello AMFisHers! This weeks AMFisH fishing vlog is about spring fishing strategy and fishing the levels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hCcbPrnTQHA
As soon as spring comes around all of us AMFisHers can’t wait to hit the lakes for some fishing, BUT there are various oversights some people make especially when it comes to the size of baits they use.
In the spring bait fish schools are still relatively a small size and it takes until summer for them to grow larger SO in the spring use smaller baits. By doing this you are getting close to matching the exact size of the bait fish increasing your chances to catch more fish.
As for the levels well those should be fished not only in the spring but all year round, start with top water baits, then a crankbait that runs a foot or two, from there a deeper running crank 5ft or deeper, then you get to fishing the bottom with a texas rigged bait of a jig.
Key thing is we never know what level the fish will be feeding at, so by trying each level you will quickly see where the fish are.
Hope you found this video helpful…
