I have talked about this technique before and this sow presentation style way of fishing can be “extremely” productive! The rig itself is a hook tied up on the line and a drop shot weight about 12” to 14” inches below the hook.
This rig is fished with various small soft plastics like minnows, worms, creature baits, mites anything around the 2 1/2” range works really well. The way this works is you cast it out let the sinker hit the bottom then you can twitch it every few seconds to bounce it along the bottom, stopping it here and there.
When the fishing is slow try this rig you might just be surprised at the results.
