This weeks AMFisH fishing vlog – wear and tear of baits!

Hellooooooo AMFisHERS !   This weeks AMFisH fishing vlog is about the wear and tear of baits:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxjLRBwim7w&feature=player_embedded

Don’t mind the bad zoom in this video my friend that was shooting was not aware the zoom on my camera did not work from a far distance.  We tend to use baits time and time again BUT do you take a look at them to see if they are in good working order ?  Honestly most people don’t and end up losing a fish of a lifetime because an O ring split open, a spinnerbait snapped in half, a hook point broke off, it could be anything.

It is very important to check each bait you used after a days fishing, you will be able to save money in the long run by having to replace that bait if you examine it carefully and take care of anything that needs to be fixed or replaced.

Unfortunately baits do have a shelf life or usage life, that is something we are fishing people need to understand BUT we can prevent them from aging too quickly by taking a few minutes to look at them.

We all lift a fish in the boat from time to time and that kind of weight on a smaller bait or spinnerbait can easily push the baits bend motion past a limit, so get the fish to the boat and used your hand or net to land them.

Hope this video added some value to all of you.
