This is a reblog picture to point out to all you fishing people out there that if you fish on large rock areas like this near the water, try actually walking around the water edge and fan casting along the rock edges, WHY well fish come into structure like this to feed at various times of the day, you could actually hook into a “LUNKER” !
No need to always cast straight out as far as you can, especially on areas like this, walk around slowly and cast diagonally example if you were standing in the bottom right side of this picture, make a cast about 4ft out from the rocks BUT towards the point of the rocks where the water open up.
Follow that same strategy walking around as much of the rock point as it is safe to do. You can still cast straight out what I am trying to say is think outside the regular fishing box the results may surprise you !
