This is a great picture to re-blog, docks like this are great to fish around as fish hold to structure like this for various reasons like feed being in the area, a safe haven from predators, places ton ambush bait, again various reasons. The best way to fish docks is with finesse baits rigged in a finesse style like a texas rig or wacky style. Easy to flip/pitch around every inch of the dock structure, letting the bait hit the bottom then twitching it and few times. Very good presentation to catch fish that are not in an active mood, more a territorial or defence strike. Will blog more about finesse techniques and ways to practice them for those of you who are not too familiar with them.
